Buzz Chorus Free VST Plugin comes with 60 Chorus Style Presets for Vocals – Drums – Instruments

Here at ProducersBuzz, we have developed a free chorus VST plugin, “Buzz Chorus”, which comes with 60 chorus presets.

Unlike other chorus-style VST plugins, we wanted to design something that stands out, so we added high-pass and low-pass filters, including vibrato depth and rate for vocal chorus-style effects.

On top of that, we have added the most common chorus-style features to keep this a generic-style chorus VST plugin, smoothing out the effects to make them a lot smoother. We have used a simple yet smoother sound signal algorithm to make this VST plugin low on latency and low on CPU consumption.

The sound signal is passed to the chorus-style VST plugin from any major digital audio unit, then it goes through a high-pass EQ filter followed by all the provided chorus-style modulations. The sound signal is then passed to a low-pass EQ filter and mixed in real-time, providing an enriched sound signal output.

The reason we have added vibrato depth and rate features is simply because we wanted to make a vocal-style chorus VST plugin; adding vibrato would add a great vocal effect when it comes to mixing and mastering vocals.

In the near future, PAV will be showcasing the use of Buzz plugins and how they can be used on professional vocals for mixing and mastering. The chorus VST plugin will play a huge role when it comes to adding vocal “space” and simulating certain “rap-style” artist-inspired vocal effects.

Overview of the Buzz Chorus VST Plugin

When it came to the design of Buzz Chorus, we wanted to make a generic vocal-style chorus VST plugin but decided to make it suitable for instruments and drums at the same time. Instead of releasing 3 different versions, we have released 1 compact chorus VST, which can be used for all sorts of chorus-style mixing and mastering effects.

• Triangle for linear sound signal output.
• Square for abrupt sound signal output.
• Random for unpredictable sound signal output, great to use for experimental projects.

We wanted this chorus VST plugin to be easy to use and simple, providing high-quality sound output. This was achieved by using minimal processes during the development stage, allowing Buzz Chorus to modulate any input sound signal with minimal CPU consumption and very minimal latency, making this a perfect solution VST plugin for commercial-style mixing and mastering chorus-style effects and similar projects.
