Installation
Before installing this plugin, MPluginManager will need to be installed, this is free, download link is provided below.
Once this is downloaded, MSoundFactory player will need to be installed inside the MPluginManager first. Check it out highlighted in red below, this is also free to download.
Then, after MSoundFactory has been installed, Monastery Grand extension will need to be installed on the same system. Select the “MSoundFactory & MDrummer add-ons” tab at the top.

After this, MSoundFactory will need to be opened inside your choice of digital audio unit (DAW). Such as FL Studio, Logic Pro, Logic Pro X, Cubase, Ableton Live, Pro tools and many other major music production software packages, which support external VST plugins.
Once MSoundFactory is opened up inside your music production software unit, select keyboard at the side selection, then select either monastery grand or monastery grand creative, these are the only 2 virtual instruments which will work inside this MSoundFactory VST player. All other virtual instruments inside this VST plugin player are not free.

We had to try this plugin out, and yes! The quality of this grand piano is definitely high definition sampled piano sound, since it’s free to download and free to use, makes this VST even a better choice!
The download is quite a large file, overall 3.5 GB of installation size, once we downloaded this plugin, we had issues trying to find the grand piano inside FL studio, till we realised that this is an extension for the free player “MSoundFactory”.
So to anyone that downloads this plugin, make sure to follow the installation guide process which we have outlined above, as it can get a little confusing.

Apart from that, the grand piano works great once installed, also has loads of great grand piano presets and different modulation settings, which pretty much allow this grand piano virtual instrument to sound as required when it comes to sound output.
