Making a Ghost Style Backing Voices Producer Tag in FL Studio

In this FL Studio tutorial, we will be looking at how to make a cool ghost-style backing voices producer tag Tag in FL Studio.

When it comes to making cool producer tags, using FL Studio stacked effects in a certain way will give you this very cool backing voice-style effect producer tag.

So let’s have a look at what we will be learning

Now we will look at all 5 stacked effects it takes to make such a cool voice tag effect.

1. Fruity Parametric EQ 2

First, we will look at the settings of Fruity Parametric EQ 2, you will need to select the drop-down arrow, then click on presets and select “Vocal Presence”. Your fruity Parametric EQ 2 should look like something shown below.

Then, band 2 will be required to be adjusted to -18 at 190Hz at (20%), band 1 & band 3 stay at the same position.

That is all for Fruity Parametric EQ 2 now let’s have a look at the 2nd stacked effect Vocodex.

2. Settings for Vocodex for the perfect Producer Tag

Select Vocodex as 2nd stack in the effects channel, then;

1. Click on the arrow dropdown
2. Select “Presets“
3. Select “Backing Voices“
4. The settings of vocodex will change from default to something you see on the diagram below highlighted in a large red square.

Make sure that Vocodex main volume input is set to 38%

This is all for Vocodex now let’s check out the 3rd stacked effect.

3. Fruity Reverb 2 Settings

We will then stack 3rd effect on the stacked effects, this will be “fruity reverb 2”, these are the effects parameters settings that will need to be set;

1. High Cut 4.0kHz
2. Room Size 50
3. Bass Multiplier: 100%
4. Decay Time 1.5 Sec
5. Crossover: 500Hz
6. High Damping 4.0kHz
7. Dry Level 100%
8. Early reflection level 100%
9. Wet level 61%
10. The volume on the main channel mixer “reverb 2” is set to 28%

These are the settings that are required for a perfect reverb for a voice tag/producer tag.

4. Fruity Parametric EQ

The 4th stacked effect on this awesome backing voices inspired producer voice tag is the fruity parametric eq, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th bands stay untouched but the last 3 bands 5,6, and 7 have a slight change in EQ settings.

• Band 5 is set to 2.0 DB
• Band 6 is set to 5.0 DB
• Band 7 is set to 5.8 DB

5. MAutoPan Settings

When MAutoPan is opened, simply click on the highlighted red square to open up the presets which come in MAutoPan.

Select Suitcase Preset from the list listed on the right-hand side.
