FL Studio 2025 Updates & New Features
Even though this is a beta version of FL Studio, it offers full functionalities till September 2025. Of course this is a beta version and still in the making and being enhanced, but there are some cool new updates to expect when it’s finally released, all the new features are listed below, check them out.
So what’s new in FL Studio 2025?
- New declicking options for Audio Clips (fade in and out).
- Exporting tracks has been improved, with naming duplicated exports.
- The undo button is now functioning on mixer and playlist tracks.
- Image-line has added extra support for FL Studio remote 2.
- Mastering window now shows previews in real-time, this is based on parameters settings.
- Small GUI (animation) enhancements on daily news toolbar updates.
- Updates to the communications panel, added option to keep the panel open, great for beginners with full manual sticking to the GUI of FL Studio screen.
The Mixer updates to expect in FL Studio 2025
The dynamic mixer tracks have been updated to add and delete mixer tracks as required, with the mixer track state being improved, adding an extra 375 mixer tracks resulting in 500 fully working mixer tracks.
We are not quite sure who is going to use all of these 500 mixer tracks, but then again, it’s a huge improvement from having 125 mixer tracks. The more, the better.
FL Studio simply added an add button at the end of the mixer, check it out below, use this wisely as extra tracks will result in more CPU being used. You can check out this new feature below.
But then again, who is going to use more than 125 mixer track states? This is a question we guess no one will ever answer. But the more, the better!
Also, new functionalities have been added to mixer track state, with additional mixer options. The ability to add any mixer track state from any previous projects is quite a good enhancement.
This new “add mixer track” feature is available when the user right mouse clicks on any 1-125 mixer tracks, or 1-500 should we say. This will simply load up a side browse window which will enable users to search though all sort of mixer effects they have used in previous projects.
FL Studio will pull these out of your previous FL Studio project files automatically, so it is ideal to name all your mix and master effects, as it will make it easier opening that same kick effects stack, vocal effects stack, and so on.

This feature is quite good at reducing time when mixing and mastering inside FL Studio. We are quite impressed.
Browser updates to expect in FL Studio 2025
The folder browser now shows sample preview in real time. This is great to see the wave forms sample selection, drum loops or melody loops.
Another simple yet effective update in FL Studio 2025 is an update to tabs inside the browser, there is a new tab called “presets” which pretty much holds saved presets.

The Playlist updates in FL Studio 2025
- Slice tool has been updated to be vertical on default load up, can be adjusted to diagonal with right click.
- Automation Clips have had an update, it’s now easier to see tittles, a small GUI improvement.
- Clip menus have been updated to pop up when the mouse hovers over it, this is the application key and context menu key.
New Plugins updates inside FL Studio 2025
- FL Studio mobile rack has been updated to show all FL Studio mobile plugins separately or combined as instruments or effects. This makes it easier for mobile and desktop users.
- VFX Script – This has been added to Browser > Plugin database > Installed > Effects > Fruity > VFX Script.
FL Studio Plugins which have been updated in 2025
- Flex has been updated with GUI feature to show animation when selecting a random preset, with peak indication.
- FPC has been updated to show the selected Pad with an outline. Also now shows piano names inside the piano roll.
- Drumaxx has been updated with new vectorial user interface.
- Transporter newly added sidechain feature transient detection.
- Fruity Balancer has been updated with within the hint panel, displaying its dB settings and modulations units.
- Fruity Slicer is now a now full plugin with the new ability to use this plugin inside the patcher.
- Fruity Granulizer has been updated and can also now be used inside the patcher.

It’s not been long since FL studio 2024 has been released, but we have to be honest, some of the new functionalities within FL studio 2025 will make music production life a lot easier, quicker and lot more productive.
